What are the benefits?
Each lesson involves an in-depth exploration of your individual habits of moving and being, with a goal of expanding your capabilities. Each lesson is unique and designed to find and choose new patterns of movement. During the lesson you lie fully clothed on a low table while my hands gently guide you towards new ways of moving and organising yourself. As you discover new movement possibilities, you may find that your thinking will also become more flexible and your feeling self more fluid and integrated.

After life long knee issues that as I aged became increasingly problematic and began to affect the quality of my life. The operations had never addressed my original movement patterns, which meant that for 35 years each step I took literally increased the trauma to my knee joint.
I discovered the Feldenkrais Method and it quite literally changed my life. I fell in love with its subtlety, intelligence and originality and joined the training in 2017.
Since completing the four year training I continue to learn, study and evolve on this fascinating journey of the integrated self. I now move with ease, freedom and joy.
If I look for a theme in my adult life, it must be about evolution, personal growth and creativity.
I started out my career as an Art lecturer, and taught about exploring the nature of reality through the process of drawing and painting.
As a somatic practitioner I am teaching how to acquire self knowledge through exploration of the whole the self.
In both these practices, the object, subject and environment are inseparable. The Feldenkrais Method in addition to making you feel better, younger and more vital also provides a skilful means to self love and kindness every day.
