I have practised Yoga for more than 30 years starting with Viniyoga a school started by T. K. V. Desikachar, and later Iyengar Yoga. I then obtained the Dru Yoga teacher qualification after following teacher training classes with practical yoga teaching experience for 2 years followed by the Advanced Practitioner Diploma which goes deeper into yoga and teaches how to strengthen, heal & master each chakra, on each kosha level.
I have passed all the assessments of these classes including in-depth training on postures, special Dru Yoga sequences, pranayama, mudras, visualisations and meditation, Yoga philosophy and health considerations.

What is Dru Yoga?
Dru Yoga has its roots in Hatha yoga
and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), mantras (positive affirmations), empowering visualisations and powerful, flowing, dynamic sequences.
Classes are tailored to an individual level and usually contain Energy Block Release sequences (EBRs) which are easy-to-practise, flowing movements that help to release tension physically, mentally and emotionally as well as postures, pranayama, mudras, affirmations relaxation and Dru Meditation.
If you want to physically strengthen your body and balance your mind and emotions Dru Yoga will give you tools to take into your daily life and help cope with the stresses of modern living.
Whether you are a beginner or have in-depth Yoga experience, you will always profit from this Yoga style, because it emphasizes balancing the several bodies we all have and focus on the areas which may need aligning at this particular time.
It is tailored to the students attending the classes, it works to balance the chakras, integrates the breath in all movements and works towards finding the points of stillness which we call Dru points.
It also teaches you to listen to your body and manage any weaknesses you may have, and often eases some imbalances which may be caused by disease or if left uncorrected may result in disease.
